I loooooove that site!  I need to make some hats.  Every time I see a link to go there I remember that I downloaded all those patterns that I liked and I really need to make some hats!!!  I will get right on that.. after the amigirumi and after the nifty 1970's cat I started and after I finish working on the baskets I started.. 0kay.. I need to make room for a hat.

Great pics tooo...loving the special effects!  You should send a copy to the deisgner .. she might want to use your pictures!

Red Heart is shitty, true, but CHEAP and fantastic if you're just trying a pattern out. It also is the perfect yarn to make granny squares with.

When I think of Red Heart I get a bit of a shudder b/c it reminds me of 'biting mittens' when I was little -- like the squeaky noise that acrylic yarn makes when you bite it.

AND Dot's site kicks SO much ass! She's awesome!

exactly. it's not really yarn i would use to make something to wear but it's pretty much all i will use for crochet afghans. Smiley

Ok my bad.  I stand corrected lol....  Your right... red heart isn't the best for clothing items... although i do like it for skull caps..... I didn't mean to sound bitter Smiley
