I was testing a pattern I got at a thrift store with a bedsheet. Afterwards I regretted using such ugly fabric on such a awesome patterns, so I did the only thing a normal person would do. Glue a bunch of comic books to it!

It took FOREVER for the gluing. Especially because it's a circle skirt. It's also super stiff. It has a chunky black zipper in the back so one can get out of it to. I also made a matching clutch because I had left over ribbon from the bow.

Now, to find a place to wear it....

Amazing! Great colors from the pages and the shape is really flattering on you!

I really like the way it looks, but wouldnt it get ruined really quickly just having comics glued to fabric? Its definately not something you could just wash or get wet. You should make this dress again in a fabric you really like since the first one turned out so well.

This is awesome! You are a mixed media superstar!!  The fit is very flattering, which is hard to achieve with wearable art.  Lovely colors, brilliant job!

SUPER cute. The design is pretty and the comics were a great idea. Cheesy

As far as places to wear it . . . ComicCon seems like the obvious choice to me. Tongue

I love it! I agree with DustyChica - ComicCon! Or if you're in the south you could always come to Atlanta and wear it to Dragon*Con this fall, too!

It turned out really well! What comic/comics did you destroy to make it? hehe
Don't they know you're in the danger zone?
