Norman, the Reluctant Knife Thrower's Assistant

Norman wasn't too comfortable being the knife thrower's assistant, so he is doing his best trying to impress the ringmaster with his juggling. He's definitely got his eye on the balls!



I gathered together some vintage wooden blocks, a small plastic funnel, some wire, some beads (both plastic and wooden), a paper maché trinket box, some fimo clay, and some paint and glue, and set out to make something circus.



I constructed the knife thrower's hypnotic spinning wheel with the blocks, some hardware, and some E6000, and I made my little guy some shoes of fimo clay. The trinket box was painted and inked to give it an antique look, and then confetti star were glued along the top. Little wooden beads were the perfect size for feet on the box.

I think Norm might have a new career...

He is doing a great job juggling...and you did a great job on using up the vintage scraps!  I am loving your circus explosions of crafty goodness!

A few knives in the board might motivate Norman to keep practicing...
