For those interested, I used this pattern http://www.crochet-world.com/newsletters/talkingcrochet/pages/TCNL1509_patt1.html

I seem to collect yarn faster than I can use it, and I've been wanting to make a pet bed for a while, so I searched for a pattern and this one seemed fairly easy. The pattern says to fill the side part of the bed with fiberfill, but I decided to use old clothes, because I thought it would work better if I put the bed in the washing machine. I guess I'll find out once I wash it.

Anyway, onto the pictures!

My cat is fat, about 20 pounds, and he barely fits in the bed, but he seems to like it.

Thanks for posting the pattern:) And please let us know if filling it with clothes works better in the wash. Also, that cat is one big adorable ball of lovable fur:D

I did wash the bed today and the clothes definitely work better than stuffing, in my opinion.
