I designed this cross stitch by painting a small pic and then scanning it into the computer. I put the back stitch and bead work on after I had done the cross stitch. It's 50 stitches each way, I think if i did another two in different colour ways they'd look nice all hung together one under the other as a group of three.

Thanks everyone. I think what is giving it the painted look is the colours the computer picked up, as the paint mixed and has blurred around the edges
