OK ...so it's not brilliant (the clouds are all wrong), but I'm pleased with my first attempt at watercolour painting!
JUst need to practice now....!!!

I love the silhouettes, and for a first attempt, it's miles better than the pathetic attempt I made! My mum, who really is good, would say to let the paper show through a little more, but I never learned quite how to do that and have now moved to acrylics, oils and pastels.

I really like it, great for first attempt - don't stop. There are many ways and styles to paint with water colour, not just "purist" transparent, try them all! The picture tells a story and sets a mood, love it.
