What a piece of work is man!

Here are a few items I made in the Dollar Store swap! My partner received so I can post them now and not spoil the surprise Smiley

Not a great picture, but these are a couple of sweet pea bobby pins I made from polymer clay. Not really a dollar store project, but I noticed a lot of pea-themed items in my partner's wist. I'd like to dedicate these to my late sweet pea plant, which thrived at the beginning of the summer and then passed away as soon as I repotted it Sad I did it for your own good!!!

These are directly from my partner's wist! Such pretty flourishes and curlicues. The green wire is aluminum gardening wire from the dollar store--very easy to work with!--and the gold wire and hardware are from stash. I'd like to make some more of these with smaller gauge wire...

My partner is a shell collector as well, so I made these with some lovely mussel shells I got on the beach here in So. Cal. and some green freshwater pearls. They look more golden in the picture, and that might have been nice too. Gotta make myself a pair now!!

Thanks for lookin'!

Oh and just as an extra to stick in here, here's a jewelry/trinket holder I made from a dollar store glass, shells, resin, and a butter dish. I like how it turned out! And it made it to New York in one piece--hooray!

These are all so adorable, not to mention creative! I loved your shell earrings idea. I'm going to have to make me something like that now.
