Alright so I fell in love with lace knitting. But so far I've only done small projects like socks and a dishcloth that I really didn't feel like blocking. (I also did a scarf in worsted weight that I decided not to block that I would rather not talk about....) So when I came across this pattern on ravelry for the Haruni shawl I decided it was gorgeous and I had to attempt it Smiley So I did, and then I also decided I had to block it because it just didn't look right otherwise. So here it is, blocking pins still in, and I am SO happy with it! I've decided to make myself another one in a different color now. I think I am truly addicted to lace, and i'm not really a girlie-girl...

I forgot to mention that I "tweaked" the pattern a little bit. I did one less pattern repeat than was called for on the main body, and I worked it on size 8 needles instead of the size 4 that were called for. But I am very happy with the results Smiley

Gorgeously detailed!  Good job.  I'm so impressed by lace knitting.  I've relatively recently learned how to do yarn overs at all.
