I love the Teesha Moore style but didn't ever have the patience to try it until craftylittlemonkey shared her super easy tutorial take on it! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=356111.0



I went a more simpler route yet and it looks totally different but is basically the same technique!

I love laying out the material and designing them..it takes me quite a while to actually finish them with the embelishing and adding a zipper and handle and all...I have about ten bags started and two finished lol! Here is a smaller one (about 10 inches wide) that I am giving to a sister-in-law for her birthday this month!

I used a small roll of some sparkly braided rope I found for the handle. I hand sewed a small black zipper at the top of the bag for closure. I used different beads and buttons to go with a red and black theme. I sewed that patches of material on with a tinsel thread with the machine for extra sparkle..sorry it doesn't really show in the pics!  Thanks for looking, I will have more to come in the future as I finish them lol!

Very cute!! I love all of your embellishments. It's much simpler than the Teesha Moore bags, but I love them. You did a very good job on it, can't wait to see more!! I'm doing one too, but it's more like Teeshas'.  Maybe I'll get it done by Christmas (Ha). Thanks for showing.
