Zidishaluxe the shoes are fab!!!What type of paint did you use?is it waterproof(stupi question i know)?Would love to customise some of my shoes like that!!

thanks! I used acrylic paint and then I sprayed the shoes with a clear sealant that's supposed to prevent chipping, wear, and you can wipe them with a wet cloth if they get dirty.

Well I am very excited to announce that I got my package from crassy_mcnasty!  Well I actually got it on Thursday, but have been super busy and unable to sit down and get everything done that I wanted to...

Okay without further ado...I love, love what I got and in fact I am wearing two of the pieces currently!

First I got this amazing skirt that is black in background with martini cocktails all over it.  I simply love the yellow rickrack at the bottom of the skirt.  I got so many compliments on it already!  Thank you so much and it fits perfectly too!

Next she included a awesome apron with 50's appliances and cupcakes.  Just my style!!  I love aprons too!

Hair Ornaments:  A (Rosie) scarf, a super cute leopard ribbon with a small red rose (I got lots of compliments on it, yesterday), A small red heart on a bobby pin with a red gingham little bow, a black and white fabric flower with cherries on it...

...and finally the one I am wearing tonight is also great because it has a green button on it and I love green!

the cake topper is the three tiered green and blue beaded necklace with matching blue earrings.  Fabulous!!!

Another question, Im from South Africa and im wondering if there is anyone else who is?
Im very interested in the swaps and would like to take part but postage overseas is expensive.
If there arent any how would I go about organising something like that?Have a few friends that are crafty but not members.Should I get them to join?

I'd reckon getting some friends to join would be a great idea just because this forum is GREAT for crafting.
Also, if you wanted to do a swap to help learn the process (after you've posted 15 times or whatever it is) then maybe look into the paper craft type swaps because that would be cheaper to send over seas.

Otherwise if you have a few friends who are keen to do a country only swap or any friends who are will to do international posting then you could match up the partners so the friends who can afford it send overseas while the others send domestically.

Also, maybe do some research and see if some areas are cheaper than others eg.Australia > America is a bit cheaper than Australia > Europe.
