i was interested in this project for a bit, and finally i just did it. total i think i spent 40 minutes on it.

I like this.  I just check out a book from the library, Craft Challenge Dozens of Ways to Repurpose a Pillowcase.  They suggested doing this with the decorative edges of pillow cases.  It is a cute idea.  Did you just use fabric scraps?  It seems like a great way to bust through a fabric stash.

thank you! if i had enough old pillowcases i could have done this with them. however, i made a trip to the fabric store and these fabrics were screaming at me until i brought them home! it was a nice sunday morning project Smiley
