I am going to Bangkok on holiday in November and was wondering if anyone could tell me some nice fabric and craft supply stores there. I am also seeking a fancy/crazy/outlandish clothing stores..

Ooops... I'm super late to the party... but for anyone else who's looking, there's a craft area at Siam Paragon mall.  It's not far from the Oriental Exotique area.  There's a sewing shop, yarn shop and needlework area.  There's also a really high-end fabric shop there, I was afraid to touch anything.

As far as crazy clothes - any street market will have something, but Chatuchak is the grand-daddy of all outdoor markets.

Zuma girl after 2 yrs ur reply is useful to me.If u read this msg please tell me is the shop inside the siam paragon mall or outside.Is it costly? Any such sewing related shops in sukumvit area? I am going for  4 day visit.Thank you.
