Hello,

I have been a long time lurker by proxy.  My oldest DD has been a member since oh 2005 and is always showing me what is made here...well after her getting her last swap package I thought sure I will go ahead and join instead of just looking at the pretty pictures.

I am mom to 5 kids the oldest will be 21 next month and the youngest is 8.  I live in Southern Oregon.  I am a full time student.  I restarted school after my husband passed away two years ago.  I am a sewer and a knitter, (when my hands let me)  I might know some of you from sewing mamas where I have the same user name.

Anyhow.  That is me
Shannon

Cheesy Nice to meet you! I'm in Oregon too (just moved there June 19th) but I'm in Northwest Oregon.

Hi Shannon, welcome! Smiley I'm very new here as well. I can't imagine how busy you must be with 5 children!! Shocked At least they must provide you with inspiration when it comes to making things. Sometimes I wish my own mum was crafty like myself... but I don't think it will ever happen!  Grin

I'm really sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. I know it wouldn't have been easy on you at all. I really commend you for raising your kids AND studying. You are one strong woman!
