i tried making pumpkin pie crunch once, which was the same idea. it turned out so badly. i had to take it to the party anyways, because i didn't have another dessert. the top turned out to be like eating dust, and the filling was somehow this gluey pumpkiny mess. ugh.  Embarrassed

Holy crap--- I just made this last night---  Cherry pie filling- and white box cake mix (I added some almond extract to the mix as well...   


The pan's already almost gone--- and it's only about 18 hours old...

SOOOO Good...
