I am super excited about this shawl, which happens to be my biggest knitted project so far. I've had the yarn ages, which I only got because I think it's TARDIS blue. I got the pattern from lionbrand.com. The only alteration I made was doing one less repeat of the pattern, because both I was running out of yarn and I am a bit short.  Tongue This took me exactly two weeks to make (would have been a little less but I learned a very important lesson about babies and projects).

I love that crochet is used to finish off the project.

A slightly blurry close up of the stitches, my camera was not cooperating today.
Thanks for taking a look at my latest project!

That's really pretty, I love the color! Shawls are one of my fav accessories in the fall/winter.
I have to admit to being a dork though because from the thumbnail I thought someone had knit panties lol.

Thank you for the compliment!
Yeah, I got a comment similar to that on my facebook. Apparently I have flesh colored carpeting. I never noticed that before...

I take it the "very important lesson about babies and projects" was that they never tire of pulling your needles out of your work...Tongue Trust me, they get over it when they pull the needles out of a project that you're one row from completing and you break down and cry like it's the end of the world. Stupid hormones anyway...haha

Anywho, love the shawl. It almost makes me wish I lived in a state where'd I'd get use out of it.
