Sorry, this should have been posted over at http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35846.0 instead

Materials: Scissors (or a hole punch if you can find one the right size), clear glue, magnets (you can buy circle magnets the size of the marbles but they cost about 10 times more than a roll of magnet), marbles and some sort of picture

I used the stamps from one of those anoying buy "12 movies for the price of 1" ads:

Step 1: Cut out picture in the shape and size of your marble
Step 2: Glue picture onto marble

Step 3: Glue the magnet on top of the picture

Done:

They're so easy and adictive. Some people like to wait for the glue on thier picture to dry before glueing on the magnet to prevent bubles from forming between the picture and the marble. Personally I like to add the magnet when everythign is still wet because then I can smooth out any bubbles.

Those are really nice...never saw them made out of those movie stamps before...they turned out so colorful!  Great idea for a gift...just pick someone's fav. movie, or even movie theme, and make a few magnets...hey I guess you could do it with the stamps from C.D. and book clubs too!...I am going to have a real hard time throwing any of those away ever again!...The environment thanks you and so do I!
