Thats right all you children of the 80's, its Rainbow Brite! I made her for the yarnies vs sewist swap. Its the first time Ive done a poppet based on a known character.

I didnt use a pattern for the dress I just looked at pictures of the old dolls and when from there.

Her dress was sewn onto her but I made her suspenders and her sleeves removable.  The armwarmers are removable too but since I had to use needle nosed pliers to get her hands through them I wouldnt suggest it.

After I finished her hair and put on the trademark star.

My partner told me her daughter just loved her.
