Hi all! I just finished my first sweater, Knitty's Que Sera.  Sadly, I underestimated my bust measurement (or grew since I casted on...) and I can't comfortably button it up all the way.  Still, it's super cute when buttoned at the waist!

Yeah, shorted out. Finally a lie too big.

Your stitchwork is beautiful on this! I love the color your chose.

Don't worry -- my grandma joked that there were two sizes of handknit sweaters, too big and too small. My first personal project was a set of Knitty's Cleaves. I used the wrong size yarn, overestimated my width, and didn't check my gauge. Needless too say, it was way too big and looked horrible! That project taught me valuable lessons about gauge swatches, measuring myself carefully, and buying the right yarn. Smiley You did great!

It's adorable! I love that yellow-I'm imagining it unbuttoned over a plain t-shirt and a little denim skirt for the fall. There are so many outfits you could pull off with it though

Congratulations on finishing your first ever sweater.  I am hopefully going to start my own first try soon and I hope it turns out as well as yours did.

Looks great.  If it's a natural fibre you may be able to block it out a bit to make it fit.
