 i used my first commercial pattern and was successful yay! i made my aunt a flapper style hat since the chemo effects are getting more noticeable. i just need to embellish it still. i was thinking of making a felt flower but i am not sure how it will hold up in the wash... any ideas?

heres some pics of me wearing it and then one of my aunt:







i cant wait to try more and make her more things to help her feel pretty in such an ugly time

i found this pattern to be very easy to follow and easy to pull off! id recommend it for beginners

You could make a felt flower to attach with a pin so that it can be removed for washing, perhaps?

that should do great! thanks  Grin the pattern had a flower in it but it was made for fleece so i didnt think the cotton would work the  same.
