Got a pattern from Urban Threads that was perfect for my swap partner and knew I had to try it!

It was a lot of fun to make and my boys who are 4 & 8 now each want a zombie patch of their own!
This one I glued to some felt and then glued to make a journal cover.

I did a simple backstitch for my lettering but I used all six strands to give it a chunkier look.
