MY Boyfriend Graduated From the police academy in May and since we are both MAJOR Wow Fanatics I thought making a Wow Quilt would be right up his alley. Well in my internet travels I had no luck finding any one who had made one before! So the planning started, I wanted to make it so Alliance was on one side and Horde was on the other, Switch it up because neither me or my boyfriend hate either faction. Thus this quilt was born!!!

And the Horde side ( I didnt take pics once I quilted it)

And Just for the heck of it, ACTION SHOT

Let me know what you think!! Comment and constructive Criticism is welcome!

Omigosh, I love it! It looks like the symbols are made of some sort of shiny fabric? How did you get that on? Won't it crack?
Being a huge fan of the Horde but having a boyfriend who plays Alliance solely, I would make it a double-plaid too, but then have the Alliance crest on his side of the bed and the Horde symbol on mine, haha.
Well done, I bet he will love it!

WWow! Thank you guys so much! The symbols are both just broadcloth that a fray blocked and then sewed onto the quilt. And yes, the alliance symbol was he'll to do it took me a couple days to go around it all lol lots of cursing involved

How did you manage to make large enough copies of the symbols? They look so perfect. I may just have to make myself one.

Well I found pics of them online and enlarged them greatly and made stencils of them on freezer paper, then I ironed them onto the fabric and cut them out, It takes forever to do that lol and sewing them on was pretty difficult to do. I did it on my little sewing machine lol. But pretty much once the symbols are done its a piece of cake Smiley
