Yards and porches and windowsills all need pretties like living rooms and kitchens do. And unless you live in a dungeon, you have one, two, or all three of the above. What sets outdoor decor apart is that is must be able to withstand whatever mother nature throws at it. And if we care about her enough to create pieces with special restrictions just to glamor up our earth, we might as well do her another favor and create the pieces using waste free, up-cycled, and altered materials. Wind chimes, plant holders, welcome signs, garden gnomes, and pink flamingos; all of the above are acceptable and encouraged, as is anything else you can think of. Just make sure it's waterproof.  Wink

Actually, the date was right... the crafting period is a whole year long.

(Just kidding, and thanks for pointing that out!)

I sent my info in.  I kept all the wood from our newly built barn that I would love crafting something out of.

It did say windowsills!  Are you completely without windows, too?  Think of the possibilities for suncatchers and tiny little herb garden containers!

I'm an apartment dweller too, but our place is full of plants and we have a balcony. But we also use an outdoor wrought iron table as a coffee table and hang wind catchers in the windows so we bring some of the outside inside Smiley

Yay, swappers! Grin
And yeah, the swap name should totally be subtitled... "The Recycled Outdoor Decor Swap: Use it indoors, too!" A little touch of the outdoors in any room can really go a long way!
