Ok, here is a picture of the focal point in my office.

I'm trying to think of what else to do to the space to make it look nicer.  I was thinking of making a table runner for the credenza.  Maybe put the pics on the wall and just have a few decorative pieces on the credenza surface?  I don't know.  It looks good now but there's just something lacking.

What do y'all think?

Maybe some of the 3D box shelves with nick nack sort of trinkets within them  or even finer looking pieces vase/flowers (depending on the size of the 3d shelves box shelves) it would bring attention to the sign yet enhance the surrounding space so it didn't seem so bland. If that makes sense.   Wink Smiley

The runner would be great with something small in the middle & maybe w larger items on the ends (like large pic frames) with a candy dish in the middle all sitting upon the runner you chose for the credenza.

I'm thinking a smaller grouping of 2-3 black frames with photos for either side of the poster. Help balance it out, and take up a little more wall space. As for the top of the desk- I'd group the items together in 2-3 so there is a little more blank space up top, draws attention to your knick knacks and makes it look more clean.

I think you need to add a little height to the both ends of the credenza.

I would start with the side that has the clear round vase.  I would add a taller vase to fill the space on the wall.  I think a bold color would tie it in with the lovely picture you have framed.  You might also group a few small things around the vase.  Perhaps, the owl and the pictures.

Then on the other side keep the taller dark picture frame and group the remaining items.  This should leave some space in the center.  Here I would put a tray and add the teacup plant with smaller picture frames or knick-knacks on either side.

Finally, store the watering can elsewhere since it doesn't go with the other lovely items you have.

Looks good, but did you end up putting in some variances in height? I know I am late but just happened upon your post. Smiley
