So my partner in the OTT Alice swap received. She said she loved the scene in the cartoon Disney Alice with all the flowers, so I gave her one of the flowers!

I added violet felt for the face and worked in a mixture of satin stitch and backstitch. It's probably the longest I've spent on an embroidery project (which isn't saying much because I haven't done that many!) but it took about 3 1/2 hours of stitching. Seemed like longer because I work so much I just had to stitch whenever I had free time and wasn't running after my son!

We have been watching a lot of Alice in our house lately (4yr old girl) and this is THE song that gets stuck in my head.
I think you captured the facial expression perfectly, I love this so much!

Beautiful job. I really love it. I could tell just from the picture that this was one of  the Alice in Wonderland flowers.
