I've been wanting a crop top but I wasn't able to find any that I liked in the stores so I decided to make my own out of an oversized tshirt that I've been holding onto.

I think it turned out really cute.

Here's the before pic

I also made up a tutorial if anyone's interested

Let me know what you think!

[edit]opps I meant to post this in reconstructed clothing, mods feel free to move![/edit]

That is very pretty and thank you for the link to the tutorial,  I know how to make a crop top but I didn't know how to get that lovely bleached tie dye effect. I've bookmarked it for future use. And congratulations on your healthy lifestyle. I've just started on that quest and hope to be able to downsize some of my clothes in a few months.

Thanks! The bleaching was so fun, I ended up cutting the bottom excess into strips and bleaching them too for headbands!

Cute! I love floyd and I love crop tops! Here is a tip for you. When I was playing with bleach I would notice that over time the bleach would wear holes into my clothes, even though they had been washed many many times. The bleach still eats it up. So I read that after bleaching douse your project with hydrogen peroxide to stop the bleach. I did it on a pair of jeans and it seemed to work Smiley
