After reading seeing this post http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=383859.0 I really wanted to make something similar. I've  been making full sized pot pies for many years and have made dessert pocket pies a few times. This is the outcome of my actions.

The sauce is a little... off putting but it's a cliche pot pie cream sauce made with a blonde roux, salt, pepper, garlic, onion and cream. The whole thing was filled with mixed vegetables(I cheated and just picked up a bag instead of doing all the chopping),and potatoes.

My over all thought after getting to the inside was that it didn't have enough filling but my crust is perfect, tender and flaky with good color. The next time / when I go to write my recipe, the pie will be larger with closer to a cup of filling.
Thanks for looking.
