I know there are a couple quilt shops in the area, but I was wondering if there are any Dutchess Coutny crafters out there? I may be moving there soon, so if there is a scene, that would be the coolest. If not, is there anybody out there interested in crafting in the area? With an awesome market like Stormville around you could SUPER ideas.

I'm a Dutchess County crafter!  In Beacon to be precise.

I have dabbled in everything, sewing, quilting, flower beading...but my latest obsession is knitting and crochet. Trying to find great knitting classes in Dutchess/putnam?

Any reccommendations anyone?

try yarn central.  its in the taconic plaza on route 52, in hopewell junction.  they're super nice and have a wide variety of knitting classes, and the most beautiful (albeit expensive) inventory of yarns.

I'm a Dutchess County crafter! Mostly paper crafts -- handmade cards, books, albums, etc. I live in Clinton Corners (near Rhinebeck). I'm also looking for other crafty types in the area.
