Another of my friends is leaving town (story of my life at the moment!) Here is the hoop that I made for her:

She as a WAHM business making AI2 cloth nappies of her own design. When you order you get to pick the pattern on the fabric (cows, monsters, stars, cars, paisley to name just a few). Anyway, a little while ago she let me raid her scrap bin for fabric to make into fabric buttons and while I did make some buttons, I also had loads left over. So when I found out she was leaving I thought it would be a great idea to do a patchwork background using some of the nappy fabric scraps and I appliqued/sewed her logo on the top (it's a baby in a pea pod as her nappies are called snow pea nappies). Here is what she had to say about the hoop on her FB page:

Check out this farewell present my friend made for me Smiley The background is a patchwork of some of my favourite nappy fabrics, and she has hand sewn my logo over the top! One of the most amazing gifts I've ever gotten Cheesy

So glad she liked it!  Grin
