Hi! My name is Liz. I live in a tiny village in Souther Illinois called Iuka. I have 2 dogs, both dashounds and I live alone, no kids. I love the darker side of things, vampires, gothic, steampunk, faries. My name is Lissa and I live in Colorado, USA with my husband and three kiddos.  I am obsessed with skulls, turtles, and crafting.  My home is slowly filling with homemade awesomeness and Craftster has been such a huge part of that. I am vegan and I am slowly moving my kiddos in that direction, so please do not send us any leather items or treats made with milk.  I try to keep my life and home as eco friendly as possible so I am all for used or recycled items as long as they are clean and useable.  I love black and darker colors and don't really wear a lot of color. I am not a fan of pastels, neons, or florals. My ears are guaged and I rarely wear jewelry, although I do have some pieces that I do or would wear. I guess I consider myself a "gippy" (gothic-hippy) with a really good splash of "50's housewife who dreams of being a pin-up."  Please use washable fabrics and fibers and pre-wash all fabrics so that they don't shrink on us when we wash them.   

My wists and my pintrest is really full with ideas.

Hello all, I am Monica your org… Must of you know that however LOL. I am a really strong lady who just is a bull by the horn girl. I am really blessed to have great friends here as my DH says My BFF in the box I have to say I am trying to convert my home to as much homemade craftiness as I can it makes me happy. I love so may things and my home is so fun and different in each room really. I am a surfer ocean girl( will be on a board again when I get my knee replaced. We live at the beach on the Crystal Coast the last bank of the famed Outer Banks of North Carolina. I love pink and girly but some edgy too. I am an ride it fast kind of girl. I drive my motorcycle year round. I love to ride and love the ocean. We are teaching the kids to ride and Atlanta to surf How fun. She is a beach bum really they both are. They love to fish and hunt ( shhhh she sits in the woods with me and looks at the animals) only time she shuts up LOL...

I am into clean lines I guess as to messy, I cant stand things looking cluttered or things that are tossed together looking in my house, hair etc everything is just right before we leave the house LOL Odd I know makeup to the beach and even hunting..Odd ball huh....
We have 2 beautiful grandkids that my DH and I are raising.
Atlanta is a fun 6 year old. Smart beyond her years when it comes to witty and artistic and then Houston ...He was 2 . He is a sweet boy who loves his "LOLLY" that's me..I am their Lolly. ( I am too young and fun to be called grandma). He is a special child that was blessed to have teach us so much compassion and love. He has Autism and cant for some odd reason deal with Kelly/Crayon green...not in M&M's or Lego's nothing at all....He hates to shop but loves to help carry in the bags and cries if he does not feel like he is being helpful   I always have a bag to carry in. They both love to garden. He is so happy there and at the beach. The only places I think he is like everyone else and his brain is at peace

We have some Allergies in the house...Atlanta has a lung illness like asthma. She cant be around the sticky tar stuff from cigarettes. If you smoke inside pass on claiming us. If you smoke outdoors make sure to please wash your hands and supplies well to not have issues.

Atlanta is on a special diet now she has tumors and cant have any candy or goodies so please dont send them to the kids..I can still have some Kender bars however I dont share them I hide and savor them

I adore all things outer space (and collect space ships), computers and technology, anthropomorphized objects, casual games and crosswords, television (very specific shows, though), and trying my hand at any-and-everything crafty.  I like the weird, subversive, kitschy, and novel, along with a good dose of cute thrown into the mix.  As for my style…well it’s probably just easier to say I don’t like “country” or “shabby chic.”

We live in a tiny town. The nearest craft store is 30 minutes away and in a small town so the selection is limited. There is a Hobby Lobby with the basics and a small Joann’s which is almost useless for anything other than fabric (they have a good selection of fabric but I don’t sew…lol). So it is hard to get supplies. I have to get most things online and some just aren’t worth paying shipping for. I have no problem with used supplies.

-    Short Circular knitting needles , any size…. Maybe 5-12 inches long. I have 16 inches and longer.
-    Soft Cotton Yarn In worsted weight. I could use sport weight too. I have enough dishcloth cotton (like peaches and cream)
-    Sewing Supplies for my mom   She has been sewing for a few months and really loves it. She can’t afford supplies. Maybe someone has some they don’t need. She needs fabric the most, but can use anything.  This is the main reason why I am joining this swap. I am hoping to get her sewing supplies or something for her birthday.
-    Beginner Crochet Supplies   I want to teach people how to crochet. I will only be charging $5 (which is how much it cost for the newspaper ad, so I’m obviously not doing it for the money lol), I can’t afford to buy all the supplies for them.
