I am trying to sell my Ashford Joy locally so that I don't have to deal with shipping, so I put up a listing. Someone contacted me and was surprised how high I had it priced. Later I learned from her that there is a new and an old model. I had no idea that there were any changes as I have not kept up with the community. I think I bought it around 2007 and I'm pretty sure I paid around $600 for it new as it is a double treadle.

What changes have they made?
Am I allowed to ask for help pricing it?

I don't know much about the Ashford Joy except there is a single and a double treadle model and the 2010 come with the sliding hook on the flyer.  I see by researching a bit that Ashford came out with a larger capacity flyer/bobbin set up also.

Single treadles are slightly lower (about $595 new) that includes the wheel, 3 bobbins & orifice hook.  With a bag, $685.

Double treadles are going for $655 without a bag and $745 with bag.

I see on an Ashford group where a late 1990's Joy (with bag & 3 bobbins) sold for $400 last month.

A 2009 Joy with regular flyer + 5 bobbins and larger flyer + 4 bobbins has a price of $500 (with bag).

2 months ago a Joy was offered "with bag & bobbins) for $300.

2 months ago 2010 Joy with bag & 4 bobbins sold for $650
