Hi everyone! I'm posting a picture of an ATC I made for miknessevie; it seems she's having camera issues.
This is based on her vintage children's books/pictures theme:

I used pictures from a children's folk book that I then water-colored.

Thanks so much for posting. I'm going to have to get a new camera!  I really like this card and it makes me feel like a kid!

What an exciting week this has been!!  Cheesy

I received two terrific cards in this week's mail - and had a new roof put on my house.  The cards are definitely more fun, even if they weren't quite so useful in last night's rain.  Tongue

First up, from Mrs.LindsayLoo on my combined themes of vinatge, chickens, and ocean....hmmm?Huh you say?  Wait till you see it!

I just love this chicken of the sea!

And then, all the way from Finland  Shocked I received from Kitiza a 3-D doorways card titled "Doorway to Night"...

which opens to reveal...

Thank you both so much - I love them to bits!!  Cheesy

I received 2 awesome ATC's yesterday!
First is one from jillybeans. "C is for Cake"! She used a really neat technique. The glass cake plate and dome are made from an acetate sheet that she painted with pearl acrylic paint. It's a pretty, translucent effect.

The second is not officially part of the swap, but is too awesome not to share! It's from AmandaBL and it's got some awesome little fortune cookie slips on it. The top 2 teach Chinese words and the bottom says, "Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing." She sent it in an epic Wonder Woman envelope.

Here's a card I got from Tree27 for my peacock theme.  It's made from card stock, and the bottom stripes are ribbon.  I think it's cute, and I love those legs!  Tree, I think you should make one of these for your sister.  Grin

Wow, what excellent ATCs! I love the chicken at the beach.
Here's an ATC that gozer made for my "Random Fact" theme:

Did you know that?
I believe the term is "anal breathing/anal gasping" - when I took marine bio, we learned that sea cucumbers do it too.
Thanks gozer!

The peacock is so cute!
I also received two cards today.

This first one is from SilverMoon for my theme Poisonous Apple. And someone has bit the apple!  Shocked I really like the colours of this card, it truly makes you think about poison. And you can see the teeth marks on the apple also.

This one is from gozer for my theme Norse Mythology. She is Sif, the wife of Thor, and she is known for her golden hair (you can't see it properly on the picture but in the card she really has golden hair!). One night Loki cut her hair and Thor made Loki to ask the dwarfs to make new hair for her. It is said that Sif is a swan maiden and can turn herself into a swan.
I love gozer's work, this and all the others that I have seen here. I am proud to own one of the ATCs she has made. Smiley

Oh, and even though it's not an ATC I have to post the card that gozer sent me! Isn't it super cute?

Thank you both for the wonderful cards, SilverMoon and gozer!
