I love textural knits!

I am not done--I have more yarn and will try to get a few more done by my state's February due date! Cheesy

You guys have given me so many patterns I want to try out!

I have power! I didn't get it back until Thursday afternoon, but my neighbors across the street didn't get it back until yesterday! I was lucky that I had places to stay- it got pretty cold around here!

alwaysinmyroom, you rock! They look so nice all packaged up and ready to go! You should be proud of yourself Wink

And, Kittymom, that scarf is very cool looking! As a tactile person, I think I'd be running my fingers up and down the ridges while I was wearing it Wink

And, I am planning to pack up some things to get to the post office by next Saturday, so hopefully I'll have a decent picture of the scarf by then. Maybe I'll take it to school and stretch it out on one of the lab tables (after I wash it, of course) to get a full length shot.

So exciting you got a thank you letter Always! What a nice keepsake. I want one  Cool

I got a new job a few weeks ago and it is taking up lots of time, but I am chugging along. I am thinking of making myself do 10 rows or so a day so it will be less overwhelming and actually get done so I can finish up making December birthday gifts.

Congrats on the new job, Alisha! I've decided that with Christmas coming up, I have to craft by due-date. Unfortunately, that pushes the scarf towards the end of the list (but above the things on the "make sometime for myself" list  Roll Eyes).

That's great that you got a thank you letter, alwaysinmyroom!

I wish I could see the faces of the people who receive them, but I guess it is random...not sure if I can make it to Norristown for the Special Olympics but it would be cool if you spotted someone wearing your scarf, wouldn't it? Cheesy

I hope they post pictures...there might be a pic of our little group's scarves! Cheesy

Craft on---even with the holidays, there is nearly a month before the deadlines for most states!!

For those of you not following the Facebook Fan Page for the Scarf Project. They just got two big boxes in Illinois that was filled with scarves that reached their goal of 425 scarves. Some group(I can only assume) must have been VERY busy  Shocked

wow--that is great!  I need to see how many PA has...they need over 1,000!

oh no--they have only received 320 out of 1,746 needed!!!!  I am sure it is because most of us are procrastinators and wait to the last minute! Cheesy
