Awesome progress kittymom13! I had no idea you were going to continue with the red like that. What a pleasant surprise!

I am working a little on my scarf but not much.  Finally finished the crochet project for the LV14 swap, so I have extra time for hooking  Wink Cheesy

I did finish it last night while watching TV w/a friend.  Forgot my  accessories bag...so now the ends will get woven in.  I'd like to start on the opposite color scheme in the middle of October.  I've got some things to get to right away...=]  I'm looking forward to other's progress pics and updates! =]

Just came back from vacation, nd I need to catch up on what everyone has done!

I cannibalized my 4-ply scarf to make this diagonal one:

I got my stripes, and it's muuuch more managable.

I've almost finished my final version of the houndstooth scarf.  Only took me four tries to get it half-way right!

I love the skinny stripes on the diagonal!  Great job...

I was just thinking of you, yofi...I found a cowl pattern that you put on one of the boards and I plan on making it soon!  It had your name on it! Cheesy

Ooh... the diagonal grain stitch?  It reportedly held up very well this winter!

(I seem to have a thing for the diagonal....)

Kittymom13, I love how that scarf looks! Can't wait to see the final pic!

And, yofi, that diagonal scarf is amazing!

And, because I have a habit of getting ahead of myself in most things, I think I'll attempt a ripple (chevron) stripe for my second scarf Wink

yofi - I love it! I am glad it seemed to work out better for you! And I like how there are thicker stripes at the bottom for variety.

I almost have another scarf done...it was a very very simple crochet pattern of alternating stripes...it looks like a lot of work but really, it is fun, fast and easy!  I thought I would use up all my remaining yarn, but it appears there might be enough for one more!! ha ha the never-ending yarn... Cheesy

I hope to have it done tonight so I can take a completed shot!

Can't wait to see it -- you're really speeding thru these!  I think I have enough yarn for one more as well, and then I think I'll surreptitiously "help" my mom.

Here's the final version of the houndstooth scarf.  Took me three tries to get an arrangement I liked, and it still curls a little too much for my liking, but I'm going to try wetting it and pinning it out.  You can't really block acrylic, but it's worth a try!
