craftycaitie, loom knitting isn't cheating!! I hope we'll get to see some pics of your finished work Smiley.

Congrats on getting started, banana!

My progress has been slow. Last week was a little hectic at work and I didn't get much of anything done. I'll be picking my project back up soon though!

The yarn is now readily available at my local Joann's!  I bought two skeins for $5.00 on sale!  I have three patterns from the link you gave Limeriot, so I am set for a weekend of crocheting and knitting!

Loom Knitting certainly isn't cheating as alwaysinmyroom stated. Cheating would be going to the store and buying a scarf. Anything handmade is wonderful and greatly appreciated!

I have been slow on progress on my scarf as 1. My body suddenly decided that it wants to stay awake until 11am the next day and wake at 6pm O_o  2. I am having a wicked hard time lately controlling my migraines. Still don't have the right cocktail of preventative meds  Undecided 3.Because of this nonsense I need to pay some extra attention to the LV12 swap since everything else has kind of gotten in the way.

Great to hear about JoAnn's having a sale. Thanks for letting us know!

Hey Alisha-- two things for migraines.

If I have fresh ginger handy I scoop some out and eat it when a migraine starts coming on. It stops the migraine for me and has even shortened the duration of full blown migraines.

Also, I read that eating ice cream at the onset of a migraine can stop it in its tracks. And if it doesn't work... at least you had ice cream. Grin

As far as the knitting goes-- I haven't touched it in about a week. I may only complete one scarf instead of the two I was hoping to do.

I know it is hot and usually it is weird for me to touch yarn in hot weather, but I really really needed something to do at night while watching tv or else I would eat!!!

All my knitting and crochet has paid off!!! I have lost 9 pounds in 7 weeks! Yay for the Craftster Diet! Cheesy

Taking a long weekend away from the craziness in my life right now, so I will be spending time on the deck knitting some more scarves! Cheesy

It would be so cool to do that! But does anyone know if it's necessary to use Red Heart or just those specific color? I'm not sure if they sell it near me.

I think they are supposed to be those colors exactly. At least, that's how it was a couple of years ago- there was a very specific color you had to use. I think it's so all of the scarves "match."

And, I seem to have misplaced my yarn... I'll find it soon, I hope!
