Thank you guys  Smiley
I got the idea of the mini gallery from thinking about the hoopla swaps when they(was it you lime? I am just basing this on memory) make up one big picture of all of the hoops at the end. Well because we are all making and finishing scarves at different times I thought this way would be easier. Also we would know who made them and where to find them in the thread.  Since making the scarves isn't a requirement I figured it would be a little motivation to start, get ones finished, or make more.

I frogged my work because I changed my mind. I didn't want to knit because I already have 3 projects on my needles and I need a different motion for my nerve damage. So crocheting it is. I started the argyle scarf that pinkleo did for the 2010 Special Olympics. I had been admiring it for a long time and when she made it was when I first became aware of the scarf project. So thank you pinkleo if you are reading this! Anyways, I will post WIP picks when I get enough done where it doesn't look like a preschooler just through spots of color everywhere.

Miss Barbara - You're welcome  Smiley I want you to feel just as much a part of this as the rest of us. No reason for you not to be acknowledged just because you can't post.

Awwwww....(blushing)....we actually have all the equipment.  However, the last time I tried to post something, it was me, DH, and my son, and we were sitting in front of the computer for TWO HOURS (I kid you not.) and none of us could get it to work.  There was much cursing and aggravation all around.

And yes, many, many people have tried to explain how it works to us, but we just can't seem to get it.

My new camera is so easy...plug it in, it automatically starts and transfers the photos, I drag them into Craftster...my sister gave it to me because she knows I am challenged! Cheesy

Part of the reason why I spoil when I send packages...to make up for the extra trouble that I know my partner has to go thru, to post the photos.

What kind of camera is it?

It can make a video but I can't...or haven't bothered to learn Cheesy

My old one is a Fuji...but it only did 25 pictures at a time!

Well, I started my scarf. It's been so long since I knit something that I had to use one of my books as a reference for how to cast on. Tongue But now it's come back to me (like riding a bike). I'm a slow knitter so it will probably take me a while.

I'm on my third scarf! I'm cheating and using the loom though  Undecided . But I have vowed to hand knit at least one.

Oh,that is not cheating--it is a good idea!  I think the variety is going to be incredible...I think I will make a few with a loom as well!

I looove that argyle scarf! I just love argyle...

I cast on my scarf today! Woohoo! At first, it was too wide, so i started over. Just doing some random drop stitch rows and random color changes... I don't have a picture yet, but i will at some point!
I should probably check how wide it is to make sure it's okay before i go on...
