During my first year of college I became friends with a really cool lady. She gave me her number so we could keep in touch. Her number was on a calling card. A calling card? It was such an awesome, retro thing that I just had to take up the tradition. No more writing my number, email address and other contact information on a lousy Post-It. You wanna get a hold of me? Here's my card....

My scanner isn't working appropriately so I had to copy+paste these babies in multiple steps. I really liked doing it that way. And it gave the cards a very kitschy DIY look. Comments welcome and thanks for looking!

It's still very much the thing in business in the UK. But yours are cute, love the skull.

Business cards are still very much the thing here in the US, too. But I don't see much non-business use of them. Thanks for the comment!

nope, i agree. what a fantastic idea for a personal use. I had made "family cards" a few years ago through vistaprint, and boy were they handy to hand out! my daughter was in and out of the hospital a lot during that time so having our blog printed on the card so people to keep up to date on her health was very helpful. it kept down on the phone calls. haha. (of course, that was before the days of facebook!)

and yours are lovely! nice job!
