First attempt at reconstructing clothing ... Took 2 men's shirts ($5 each at goodwill) and some supplies ($5 for each, I couldn't believe how low I was on thread and bias tape!!) and I have 2 maternity shirts.  Learned a lot.  I think next time with the complete reconstruct (ie the blue one), I will actually dis-assemble a maternity shirt I am not in love with to use as a pattern instead of guessing.  The green one was from this tutorial http://www.make-baby-stuff.com/maternity-patterns.html turned out great with some mods for my bust line and some mistakes in the initial mods of the sleeves...  Not 100% impressed with the results, but definitely a good first showing ....  (they look cuter in the picture than they do on...)

They turned out cute!  Hard to believe that they were men's shirts, though! lol  Good thing that the prints were floral and suitable! and inexpensive!

Good job!
