These are fantastic! I did the same thing for my kids birthday this year but didn't take the time to really finish them with french seams. I'm sure yours will last a lot longer.

Thank you for the lovely comments.
I have seen the bags in playground!
The kids use the to store bakugans, lego ninjagos, go gos and dolls!  Amoungst other things.
I have had a request to make some for a party in the new year.
I costed them up as I got 3 bags out of a FQ.  the lady wanted similar fabric to that of the robot.
I was lucky when I got the fabrics from ebay as they were priced right at 1.99 a FQ.  The current price is a lot more.
Anyway - long story short - not making the bags anymore as she shought they were expensive.
I did tell her I could make them in plain, but she didn't like that idea as it made them boring.
I have thought about making another batch from some FQ and putting them on ebay or etsy or similar to see if they sell, but I've got soooo many other projects on the go - I ought to finish those first!  Grin

I am such a silly sausage!

Why? in 3 weeks is my sons birthday and guess what - yep he's having a party.  The last big one.

Since I have set a precident I am making bags again!  This time I am going for LONG and thin for dolly or beyblade storage/carrying around.  I have to say it is a good way of clearing the ends of fabric from my stash!

I have seen the bags I made last year going to and from school on Toy Friday, so I thought what the hell, lets make them again.

Husband thinks I am nuts!  He might be right! SO 36 bags and a tired machine and me will be by the mid July!
