These are the shoes I made for the upcoming Harry Potter movie premiere.  I bought these shoes for $7.99 at Sears and then used a freezer paper stencil (I found the pattern for the stencils in the chapter art for "The Parting of the Ways" (GOF) and "The Tale of the Three Brothers" (DH) as well as from the cover of any Harry Potter book).

At first I had wanted to keep the shoe black and just have the stenciled portion be in color, but the pieces were too detailed for me to piece together (as I am new to all of this), so I figured that painting over everything and free-handing the inside portion of the stencil would be easier:

Overall, I'm very pleased by how these turned out (and so are my friends!), and I can't wait to wear them to the midnight premiere!
