Hippie -- I'm sorry to hear about your health troubles.  Very glad you're back -- I've missed your posts.  I eat Cotton Candy!!

Calluna, I really like Earth-y.  I want to try adding sequins to yarn sometime.

I have one full bobbin of yarn at the moment, but it's for the sheep to shawl challenge, so I guess I'll keep it under wraps for now.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone:-* I really missed sharing and spinning.

Calluna- I really like how it turned out and the idea of weaving a yarn through the chain ply is brilliant. I cant get sparkle to show up properly either :/ does anyone have any tips or suggestions on that?

charaxesdistanti- Your alpaca silk is stunning! The colors our gorgeous and the amount of spin in the yarn suits it so well.

Osprey- I just got the flikr recently, i'm finding it sort of confusing and complicated.

Such gorgeous yarn!! I've been missing your posts, glad you are doing good now Smiley

How do you make those beehives in your yarn?

It's just a plain ol' thick n thin but you scrunch up the thick parts to make beehives. If you use a slippery "core yarn" it helps to let it wrap around the primary yarn a couple times before each big beehive to keep them in place. Hope that made sense.

I'm really late in commenting, and having recently returned to Craftsters after a bit over a year long break.

Beautiful yarns everyone!  I eat the corespun and the idea of weaving stuff into the chain ply!!
