This is probably not the most creative title, but it does describe the project best  Grin

Usually I make jewelry that's something between small and tiny, but this time I felt like trying something new. The settings I used as bases for these pieces measure 6cm in diameter... doesn't sound too big, but it is  Grin

For the first piece I used scraps of vintage lace, a polymer clay heart and some metal findings. The second one was made in my favorite way: I gathered all the findings that could possible match the style and simply glued anything to the setting that wouldn't fight back. Easy *lol*

Here you can see the size better:

I took those photos before I attached a necklace to the heart one, but I couldn't wait xD I will probably wear it with a Steampunk Lolita coord this Saturday, I can't wait ^^

I think I like the heart one best, perhaps it's the contrast in colour and textures.

Thank you ^^
I prefer the heart one, too... but my sister loves the other one, which is sort of win-win - we want to dress up in Steampunk style together and before having an actual outfit at least we have some jewelry  Grin

I'm so envious. I love the steampunk aesthetic but I suck at putting the elements together effectively. I really love the one with the crocheted lace. It has that granny-doilie thing going but in a good way.

Haha, I prefer the one with the key and Cameo.   I guess I prefer the more "industrial" look.  Which matches my personality fairly well.  I wouldn't describe myself as the most feminine of girls.

I just started getting interested in steampunk (thanks to researching it because a swap partner is into it). These are great, I love the all-brass, more industrial looking one.
