I just finished working on this the other day. It was the third of three Harry Potter needlework patterns that I grabbed off of the-leaky-cauldron.org. This one was here: http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/features/crafts/needlework/gryffindorcrest6 and the chart was by little mojo.

The picture is a bit blurry in it's larger form and if anyone is interested I can take a few more pictures later on when I get home. I had to take the pictures with my phone rather than my digital camera, and I have no flash on my phone...

Anyhow, here it is (click on it for the bigger image):

It took a VERY long time and I think I will likely take a break from these huge cross stitch patterns for a while. I am excitedly gearing up for my first swap (the newest round of the Whedonverse swaps) and I think that will have my attention for the month of July!

Thanks for looking, and let me know if you want me to post better pictures.

So freaking awesome!  You said it was big, mind mentioning how big and what size adia cloth you used?  Id love to make one of thess, but just wondering size wise what Id be looking at.  Because I'm fairly slow when it comes to cross stitch.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

great job! I've put cross stitch aside to craft other stuff, but that puts me in mind of picking it back up again. Awesome!

I just measured it, it's about 14"x16" (or about 29x37cm). It's on 16-count aida.
Thanks for the compliments, I'm really pleased with it!

That's gorgeous. I was looking at little mojo's cross-stitch patterns and wondering if I wanted to try it. This tears it, I absolutely have to!
