I kissed a seal and I liked it.

I started one this week and I don't know if it's me or if it's the pattern, but I keep having to correct every row to make the counts come out right. I have looked at all the pattern correction sites and the places where they say the pattern is off I have no trouble with. Tongue
My only guess is because the pattern I have is the new color, latest release not the original book. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I didn't follow the color suggestions from the new pattern, they just didn't seem to have the "sun through a window" look to me. Here is what I have so far if anyone is interested.

I can't help you with the pattern questions, but I wanted to tell you that what you've got so far is great!  The light colored fill is perfect for prismatic light.

Thank You Eamea! This is the hardest color selection afghan I have had to make so far. I bought one skein of every variegated yarn I could find at my local shop just to get the look I wanted. I am designing another afghan that uses all them as well so I didn't feel gluttonous. Wink

I totally admire your dedication! Your color choice is wonderful I've seen one done in autumn colors that was stunning, too. I read somewhere that you have to change hook sizes on some of the units to get the pieces to fit.

I would love to be able to make such a beautiful piece. I don't like when you have to keep making correction after correction on poorly written patterns Sad However you are very good at making it work for you Smiley I totally love the colors!
