When I found out that my new friend Calabaza's birthday was this month, I thought it would be fun to send her a surprise birthday package. I included some fun paper, stamps, and stickers, but this was my main item. Flamingos are a theme she likes so I decided to give it a go. Im still pretty new to embroidery, and its my first time trying out the satin stitch and stem (I think?) stitch. I'm happy with how the satin stitch turned out for the wings/feathers. I know its still pretty simple, but she likes it and thats all that matters Smiley

Thanks for looking!

My Dad would kill for this! He loves pink flamingos and I love tiny embroidery. Very cute!

It would also be cute for a four year olds birthday since the legs make the shape of a "4". Smiley Smiley

This is so great. I love the color contrast and that it's so tiny.
