Actually, he's not "really old", he's a friend of long standing. He and I have been friends for over 3 decades. (It sounds longer, saying it that way, than saying over 30 years...  Grin I'm strange.)

Anyway, He is a singer/songwriter. Has always had an interest in music. So, when I found this musical note fabric in my stash (I didn't even remember buying it, never mind what the heck I bought it for) I decided that it would make terrific shopping bags.

This one was Kwik Sew 3526, If I remember correctly.

I've forgot ... Kwik Sew 3749.

I gave them to ... him at his office (I'm a chicken Undecided) So, I don't know what he thinks of them....

What do you think, Craftsters and guests?

Love the shape! They look like they are nice and roomy. I'm certain your friend will really appreciate them. I know I would!

Glad I'm not the only one this happens to.

They are really roomy bags. I have others here on Craftster. The larger one holds mega, but the smaller one is strong also. They're both lined.

Have talked with him on the phone. He really likes the bags.

I mentioned I was a touch concerned that he might think they were too ... colourful, or over the top, or "gay-looking", or something.

His answer: "Abby, I'm a guy: I don't care about whether it looks to colourful, and they aren't over the top. I like them."
