This swap sounds so great! My issue with previous Lolita swaps has always been the focus on accessories instead of outfits, so this is perfect!

Would anyone be interested in receiving a tulle petticoat as their large item?

I was totally thinking the same thing. The only time I ever wear anything similar to lolita is when I go to anime cons, but I am sooooo looking forward to a gallery on this one.

I am a little tempted to sign up for this swap. My only concern is my size. I have been in other clothing swaps, even one Lolita swap on a few other websites, and the clothing I have received has never fit me. It's kinda depressing to work hard on something for another person and to get my package of items I can't use. I never could bring myself to say anything about it either...I felt guilty. I could tell that they worked really hard to make me something. I don't know, maybe I'll sign up.

A suggestion that some of us used for the Big & Beautiful swap... make a duct tape dummy of yourself and then send that to your partner (unstuffed of course) they can then stuff it their end and have your exact measurements to work with and fit too - and they can always post it back to you at the end so you can use it yourself again.

I always try to make my clothing as adjustable as possible. That's why for this swap I'd probably make a skirt with an elastic band.

The duct tape dress frm idea is a really good one Unless they specifially state otherwise my partner will be getting at least a partially shirred something

I also got a little over-excited and grabbed some loliable fabric at the fabric land that's closing down near me. Hopefully it'll be to my partner's tastes (and if not it'll end up on etsy or the sales comm ;] )

Also sending as many measurements as possible can help with that problem or see if there are other larger ladies in the swap that maybe know about the same fitting issues.

I personally never receive shirts from people that ever fit over my boobies. I have DD's and I measure at 45, 32, 42 so it's very rare it will fit in the chest and the waist.

I'm kinda temped to join but this swap is entirely in the middle of my summer school session. I'm finishing up a swap right now and it doesn't work so well while doing school + work. This is a smaller swap, though... I'll have to think on it.
