After having a few unsuccessful attempts at sock knitting, I've finally finished a pair of socks.  I'm not 100% happy with them (the cuffs are a bit loose) but I love the colors and the pattern of the yarn. Cascade Heritage Paints in Tropical Seas.

I am in the failed attempts stage of this, did you use any sort of pattern? toe up? top down? DPNs? circs? magic loop?

I think your socks are gorgeous (and it's funny that my sock yarn is in a very similar colorway, though a different yarn) and i suppose I am fishing for tips for a first pair (mine keep coming out HUGE)

Anyway...! I wish you many happy and successful socks, since you seem to be on the right track! (I hope I am only shortly behind!)

These are a modified version of the Ribbed Big Foot Socks by Robbin Koenig.  Top down and magic loop (I LOVE magic loop).
