After finishing the girls room http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=380576.0 we decided to attack the dining room.  I loved the red when we first moved in, but after we received new furniture from my in-laws, it felt like a cave.  Especially when there were people in it, which happens more often now.  It definitely needed to be lighter, a new arrangement on the furniture and a new floor!  On to the pics:

The entrance from the foyer:

The finches in their niche.  We left it brown, because it is not part of the main dining area.  it's a little nook that has the second entrance to the walk in pantry and the master bedroom door is visible on the right.  The big white block is the swinging kitchen door.  It's nice to be able to shut off the kitchen and still be able to run in and out with out having to bother with handles Cheesy

I don't have a pic of the left wall because it is unfinished.  I haven't decided what to hang there yet.  Thanks for looking, comments and suggestions are welcome!

It looks great. And the yellow is much better with the furniture.
