I made my Dad this footstool for Father`s Day
I hope he liked it.
Time to complete it: 1 hour + 30 minutes material gathering time

First, A scrap piece of 2 x 12 from our deck
& foam cut to the same size

Next, stapled fabric to cover them

Stapled another piece of fabric to cover the bottom

I got these from a couch that got sturdier legs
unscrewed the bolt-screws using vice grips (pictured below)

The ties were alternated and each held in place by a finishing nail
The cut ends were tucked under & also held by finishing nail
The smaller half of the ties that was cut off, was woven, trimmed
and nailed into place too

Using a hammer to get started, I used the vice grips to screw the
leg bolt screws into the base

All that`s left was to screw the legs into place
Since my folks have wood floors, I cut little 1-inch circles
from a scrap piece of carpet and hot-glued them to the
bottoms of the feet - Done!
