So I have these cute shoes, but the toe portion is too long. I want to wear them to my grad later this week, and I'm wondering if I can somehow shorten them.

See, the toe portion is too long and pointy.
What I want to do is something like this:

What methods are good for cutting shoes?

Take them to a shoe repair shop and see if they can do it that quickly. I had a pair trimmed like that before. I hate when the toe is like that too.

The basically cut the sole and the thickness of the toe and rewrap the edge with the upper fabric. Requires cutting tools and barge cement glue.
